About John Coleman

Title: Sport Psychologist

My love for Vega is a part of my bigger love for human movement. My story in movement is a story of wonder, which presently includes; performing a PhD project in kinesiology inquiring into the possibilities of human movement, working as a sport psychology consultant helping performers of various domains consistently perform with high quality, and exploring my personal movement possibilities within free-skiing, rock-climbing, and slack-lining.

I am currently working with the Canadian Paralpine ski team preparing for the 2010 Paralympics. My role is to help the athletes embrace the challenges of amputation, visual impairment, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injury to be present to the possibilities of the moment, and find freedom in movement including sliding down icy slopes at 120km/h towards their podium dreams.

I love Vega for its philosophy rooted in performance (as outlined in The Thrive Diet), its environmental awareness, and its products. In addition to an increase in daily energy, a few dates, a Vega Vibrance Bar, and a few sips of Vega Sport provides instant energy in crucial moments, to negotiate the fineline between success and failure within the pressures of World Cup events and the wilds of nature. Vega has added quality to my performances as a sport psychology consultant as well as my own personal movement endeavors. My personal success with Vega makes it easy for me to recommend it to the performers I work with and the friends I move with.

Breaths and Smiles,
John
