I am a strong believer that it is my responsibility to take steps that limit my impact on the environment. One of these ways is through a diet based on whole, natural and nutrient-dense foods. I also believe that nutrition plays a key role in enhancing overall health and that the overall quality and enjoyment of life can be enhanced through clean eating practices which also puts less of an impact on the environment. Vega adheres to these principles. Vega is completely plant-based and each and every ingredient is included for a good reason. This reflects my personal belief of optimising my health and well-being through high quality foods.
I began cross country skiing two years ago and since then I am dedicating myself to perform to my highest potential in this sport and to be competitive on the world stage. With significantly less time on-snow training than many competitors, it is important that I gain as much of an edge as possible in order to enhance my training and racing. I am also gluten- and dairy-free which can present several challenges when travelling and competing around the world. Vega provides me with a complete, nutrient-dense, plant-based meal replacement free of both dairy and gluten.
