Pomegranate Poppy Seed Dressing

Particularly refreshing on a warm day, this recipe is packed with antioxidants and delicious on salads.

Cleansing Kale & Tahini Smoothie

With the high chlorophyll content of the kale combined with the spirulina and other greens in Smoothie Infusion, this smoothie is very cleansing. Since it is also highly alkaline forming and contains sesame seed tahini, which is high in calcium, it's also ideal for building bone density.

3 leaves kale
2 medium size Fuji apples, cored
2 dates
2 cups water (or one cup water and 1 1/2 cup ice)
2 servings of Vega Whole Food Smoothie Infusion
1 1/2 tbsp raw tahini

Blend together

Citrus Melon Smoothie

The citrus and melon are natural cleansers. When combined with the spriulina and other greens in Smoothie Infusion, this smoothie makes for a tasty treat and is fantastic for cleansing.

1/4 cup (1 serving) of Vega Whole Food Smoothie Infusion
1 cup watermelon
1 orange
1 grapefruit
1/2 cup of water

Blend together.

Creamy Ginger Dressing

This is a thick, creamy dressing with a strong flavor. Only a small amount needs to be used on salad to boost its flavor. By doubling the amount of tahini and nutritional yeast, it can also serve as a dip for Garlic Oregano Yam Oven Fries, or drizzled over a burger.

As with all recipes containing nutritional yeast, it is high in B vitamins. With the ginger, it also helps reduce inflammation and aids in digestion, making it especially good to have with cooked food.

Spicy Sun-Dried Tomato Marinara Sauce

Thanks to the sun-dried tomatoes, this sauce is full of flavor. It is ideal on burgers, as a pizza sauce, or zucchini pasta.

This sauce can either be served raw or simmered over low heat for about 10 minutes to further blend the flavors. If you choose to heat it, try stirring in 1/2 cup nutritional yeast for a cream-textured sauce.
